"Sculptures you can use"

Ms. Robertson's wheel thrown, altered, handbuilt pottery are sculptures that function in daily life, making an occasion out of the little things. Her work includes drinking, eating and serving vessels as well decorative vases and tiles. Kari has been a ceramic art student at Penland School of Crafts in North Carolina, SUNY Alfred, and Buffalo State College. Her artwork has been recognized and awarded in national shows such as the Missiouri Twin Cups, Frederic Remington, and North Country Arts Council's Annual Shows. She carries two lines of work, one that references natural elements such as frogs, fish and fossils, and the other, a collection of of geometric puzzle pieces.
