Rondeau Fest

A music festival named for the Mayor of Cold River Flow

True fact: Legendary Adirondack hermit Noah John Rondeau liked nothing more than hanging out at music festivals and soaking up some tasty roots and blues music. OK, maybe not so true. But Rondeau, who lived alone in a camp on the Cold River not far from Long Lake, was fine with company - he’d even come to town sometimes and get his picture taken with folks. He was also the epitome of a resilient Adirondacker, and this up-and-coming festival honors that legacy. Check out several bands, playing folk, blues, bluegrass and rock.
