Original Art Deco movie theater and performance venue in Schroon Lake, New York, featuring feature films, musical concerts and a summer Shakespeare series.

Thanks to the Go Digital or Go Dark campaign, and a grant from the New York State Council on the Arts, the Strand owners worked in partnership with the Adirondack Film Society to upgrade to digital projection equipment and introduce a new film series, featuring the work of independent directors.
