Boonville Snow Festival

One noisy weekend shows how Boonville earns its nickname

Boonville is known as “The Snow Capital of the East” – it gets more than 200 inches a year and is a major snowmobile destination. And it never gets busier than its Snow Festival, when hundreds of snowmobile racers and thousands of fans turn up. This annual three-day event features vintage snowmobile races and a leg of the Pro Circuit Tour. No worries about where to leave your sled, either – the event advertises snowmobile parking all weekend long.
