Fall Festival

But not yet, so enjoy fall while you’ve got it

Inlet’s Fall Festival celebrated its 20th anniversary in 2013, an event that usually takes place at the end of September. In addition to dozens of vendors selling crafts, food, clothing, rustic furniture and more, there’s a juggler, musicians, children’s art activities and more. The Inlet Youth Commission’s Noah’s Ark Animal Workshop gives kids a chance to make their own stuffed animal. (Parents beware: The Kid Zone activity, which features sand art, gem mining, soap making and other diversions, has some goldfish to give away, so if you don’t want to wind up with one…)

At a glance
  • Free face painting for kids on Sunday (adults can do it too, we suppose … if you must)
  • State owe you money? The comptroller’s office will have somebody on hand to help you search out any cash coming your way. (They return a million bucks a day. Not in Inlet, of course, but statewide.)
  • Trigger warning: If clowns spook you, Victor the Clown is scheduled to appear.
