Pendragon Theatre

Local troupe been going strong since 1980

This local theatre company, which draws from talent that lives in the Adirondacks, stages several plays every summer, as well as a range of music, dance and other acts. The company went nameless until its second season, in 1981, when it staged a Dylan Thomas play; Pendragon, a Welsh word, means “head dragon.” The group was inspired by the notion of leading excellence in the arts – and the name, and troupe, endured. Each summer season has a theme, such as 2014's  “Dreams,” with productions that included “The Little Prince,” “Man of La Mancha,” “Death of a Salesman” and more.
