Shawn lives in the beautiful northern region of the Adirondack Park. Her interest in art began early and she continued her education in the arts at Syracuse University, receiving her BFA in Fine Art and Sculpture. She has worked in many mediums over the years with recent work primarily in mixed media and carved wood, done from her studio in Lake Clear. Shawn's work can be enjoyed regularly in shows at the Lake Placid Center for the Arts, Cape Air, Northwind Fine Arts, and View. She also teaches Studio Art at Paul Smith's College.
