Boldt Castle

A tragic love story of a bygone era.

This six story castle was originally meant to be a present from George Boldt to his wife Louise. However, she passed away prior to its completion so the island was left exposed for 73 years until the Thousand Islands Bridge Authority acquired it and began restorations.

Today, from May through October you can view this spectacular structure via ferry or your personal boat.
