North American Fiddlers Hall of Fame and Museum

Not just fiddlin' around

The North American Fiddler's Hall of Fame, Institute and Museum is operated by the New York State Old Tyme Fiddler's Association. The museum is open all days there are events on the grounds. Events highlight NYS fiddle music, and take place on the grounds under cover, with food available for purchase.

The museum features pictures, recordings and artifacts related to fiddling during the past and present. The Hall of Fame honors fiddlers from New York State as well as North America for achieving a standard of excellence in fiddling as well as promoting, perpetuating and preserving the art of old time fiddling. The institute has records of many fiddlers including photographs, biographies, and information about the type of music they play.
